Each player will be assigned a role. There are 3 different roles:
Each round, players take turns describing their secret word (e.g. "Pet" or "Four legs"). Pay close attention to the clues others are giving - this will help you learn everybody's roles.
After a round of clues, a vote is taken to eliminate any suspicious players. Vote for players that you think have a different secret word to you.
A Blind Mimic can instantly win the game if they correctly guess the Civilian's secret word.
The game proceeds in alternating night and day rounds.
During night time, Werewolves choose a Villager to kill. Some Villager roles also have special abilities that take place at night.
During day time, the Villagers discover who is killed. All players then have time for discussion, where anything can be said but the dead must remain silent. At the end of the day, all Villagers vote for who they think is the Werewolf, who will then be eliminated.
The next night/day cycle then begins.
Werewolves win once they kill all the Villagers. Villagers win if they kill all the Werewolves.
You cannot lead a trick with hearts, until hearts has been broken (played on another suit)
Must lead with ♣2
Cannot play ♠Q or any ♥
Points are doubled if the winner gets rid of all cards in one turn and has not previously melded or laid off any cards.
You end up with 10 or fewer points of deadwood
You end up with no deadwood
If your opponent has less deadwood, they score the difference plus 25 bonus points.
If you go GIN without the need of discarding a card, you get 31 bonus instead of 25.
